We did it!

After an 18 month development phase we’re beyond excited to announce that our vision for the Country Park can now become a reality, thanks to a grant awarded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the National Lottery Community Fund.

This means we can now put all our ambitious ‘Discovery Project’ plans into place, which will conserve and transform our beautiful and award-winning estate over the coming years.

The Discovery Project aims to build an exciting new Visitor Welcome Centre and Volunteer Facility. It will also restore lost original features such as the Stable Yard (which leads to the Walled Garden), pathways around the back lawn of Upton House and reinstate views and vistas across the Holes Bay Nature Reserve and beyond.

You will find all the details at our Discovery Project pages

We can’t wait to get started – and will keep you regularly updated on progress via our Park News articles and Facebook page, especially as building and restoration work begins.
