Green Flag and Green Heritage Site 2021/22
Upton Country Park is one among 23 BCP Council parks and open spaces celebrating a Green Flag Award this year.
We are also delighted to have been recognised with another Green Heritage Site Accreditation for the management and conservation of our historic features; this award is supported by Historic England.
For the first time, Poole Park has also achieved the much-coveted Green Heritage Site Accreditation for the management of its historic features, bringing to three the number of BCP green spaces now enjoying this special accreditation – Upton Country Park, Hengistbury Head and now Poole Park.
